Wrote copy and helped craft campaigns for the United States Marine Corps, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Shell, Church's Chicken and Jiffy Lube. Additionally, I got to jump in on New Business pitches and network-wide insomnia briefs. I also gained global experience when I was selected to collaborate with the JWT London and JWT Sydney offices for extra help on their respective new business pitches. I was regularly called upon to present work to clients and was even entrusted with the coveted role of Christmas Party planner. (Yes, I see the irony.)

In my role as a content strategist, I served as the voice of the Pennzoil and Quaker State brands across all of their respective social media accounts. These responsibilities included crafting our monthly content calendars, community management, writing and uploading all posts and constantly pushing for new ways to elevate our content to stay ahead of an ever-changing digital landscape. I worked my way from a two-month freelance "prove it" contract to a full-time employee.
Creative Director | National Student Advertising - Mizzou Chapter | August 2015 - May 2016
I led a group of around 100 Mizzou students in creating a $50M campaign for Snapple. In addition to my role as the creative lead, I also lead the charge on recruiting members, promoting weekly meetings through social media platforms, brainstorm sessions, spear-heading research, mining for consumer insights, writing/editing plan book copy, weekly one-on-one progress updates with our faculty head, and (perhaps most importantly) carefully curating which songs to put in the pre-meeting playlists. I led the team to a 3rd place finish in our district as well as the award for "Best Design."

I also speared-headed the creative of the summer intern project rebranding of Natural Light. Additionally, I gained valuable client presentation experience by presenting the summer intern project to Anheuser Busch’s marketing team that featured a one-man dance number (with me fulfilling the role of “one-man”).
