Since every hero needs a symbol, we crafted his own by flipping the WhatsApp checkmarks (the ones you see on every message that just mean “delivered”) into an icon to represent what his village means to him. For an exclamation point, we brought it to London’s brightest (and trickiest) stage for a Piccadilly Circus spectacular. Launched the day after Arsenal won the English Premier league for the first time in over two decades. You can only imagine all the contingency plans for the unrefundable media buy in case Arsenal lost. But I’ll spare you the gory details.
