For a legendary athlete that has been closely covered and media trained since primary school, we wanted to show a different side to Lewis Hamilton than fans are used to experiencing. Getting him from behind the wheel and into a safe space for an eye-level conversation with a few teens to share his life lessons on and off the track. Because the right message at the right time can mean everything.
In the film, Lewis ruminates on his journey of learning to lean on the people around him and galvanize his team to new heights. Starting from childhood, he bonds with the room of kids and takes us through his come-up, his comedown, and his roaring comeback at Silverstone this year. All centered around the old proverb: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
